so i dropped the pan put in a half quart of stop slip a new filter and new fluid. the fluid that came out was pitch black and right after the car instantly stopped slipping and slamming after. i will update in a couple weeks on how its feeling but so far has had a major improvement so hopefully it holds up

You more or less just did an exchange.

Actually flushing the fluid out with a machine would have killed it for sure.

It's likely still hurt pretty bad if it was slipping and slamming into gear, but you might have saved it for a little while. Just be prepared for the worst.

it didn't have a lot of particals on the magnet but the fluid was nasty, my friend that works for a local shop stopped by and was very confused on why the fluid was so black but there wasnt a lot of friction material in the pan and fluid. he is also my age 16, about to turn 17 with out the most experience but he said it didnt add up right from what hes seen
