Crap, you know how many years its been since I had my Fiero. Holy cow, I woulnt even know where to start. As well it was just a 2M4. It did survive being hit by a dump truck from the rear though, LOL.

The only person I know that would be able to answer your question would be Trannyman. Maybe send him a PM or visit tripleedgeperformance.com and send him an email.

There really arent options for syncro rings, and that trans is not going to handle 500 HP, I guarantee this! Sure, you can drive the car with that kind of power but you arent going to be able to drive it hard and shift hard with it very long. It was never made for that kind of power, not even close. There are a lot of guys using the L67 / 5 speed combo and I have been a few of those cars. The clutch is a big concern with that setup also. Driving habbits have a lotto do with how long it will last. Im not telling you its going to grenade the first time you drive it, Im just saying that the trans was never made for that kind of power and it wont live long under hard driving conditions. If you are easy on the shifts then it will last until the high power finds a weak point and starts shearing teeth off of gears or snapping shafts.

Maybe you need an F40 six speed. They are actually pretty cheap.
