I have done a bunch of searching and reading on exhaust on these cars however I see most people are going for "loud" or "performance" when modifying the exhaust. I have a 2006 Grand Prix that has the 3800 n/a it has the dual exahust on it. The factory mufflers need to be replaced. One is rusted out and the other is starting to.

I am looking for something that is going to have a similar tone to stock, dont want it too loud as it is one of our daily drivers. I dont want some autozone special that will need to be replaced in a year either however I dont want the $1100 exhaust that the dealership wants to sell me.

Does anyone have an exact model number on some mufflers for me? Also was thinking about possibly replacing the stock tips with something like these if they will fit?

Yes those tips will fit without a problem I run those on mine. You'll have to get some reducers IIRC because the stock exhaust is 2.25 but any decent exhaust shop should be able to do it.

I have heard a set of thrush mufflers before and they sounded pretty close to stock just a tad louder and are fairly cheap. Check those out. I'm sure others will chime in as well.
