Love them also look great!!
This How-To was soo helpful back in the day..
I did however miss the part about The JB Stick... and I used the JB Quick.
JB Quick worked but it did not alow me to properly aim my projectors...
Im currently ordering parts for my Quad project, This time i will use the JB Stick and hope for the best!
.. Anyways thanks Dave and others for sharing your retro fit projects in this and other threads! <3
Don't use screws..you'll use either centric rings or just a bead of rtv or JB weld etc will hold the shroud on just fine. Knows the holes are there but they just don't every line up with the projector from wht I've experienced.
honestly, i had classy make my amazing quad retros head lights and custom projector fog lights. and what i paid him is probably close to what i would of paid if i had of gotten all the parts my self. he doesn't make much off of making them for people and he's damn good at it. i'd hire him again if i ever need another set.
I have a extra set of headlights that I want to try this on
One question, where did you buy the Morimoto D2s or H1 projectors and the 90mm Rubber caps
I used Google with no luck
One thing tripping me up is the rubber caps. I had a set made but they were forgotten and didn't come installed. He sent me some to put on myself, but there has to be some trick or technique to getting them on.
It's so tight and they're not very stretchy, what do you guys do to get them on? It's like when I start them in one place they slip out as I try to stretch them around the rest of it.
