Any thoughts about this piston? And if you used it, how good did it work for you? Also any tips I'll need to know to have a successful install?
I have a rebuild on my hands and I'm looking for parts to put in while I have the tranny out. A few guys here helped me most common issues in the 4T65E-HD and I even upgraded my chain. Thank you all!

I've installed a couple of them. It's a nice piece. Can't testify to the performance since both installs were for other people's transmissions. The real benefit is the apply face is twice as wide:
Installation is pretty straight forward. No pitfalls there.
My question to you is; Do you need it? What kind of power is your engine making (or do you plan to make)?

Ok, sweet! CNC ported heads, oversized radiator and now tru cool max, along with everything else to support a 3.4 pulley.. Got an aluminium oil pan and zzp aluminum tranny pan. Figure since I got started on the topside, might as well improve the bottom for the future... Dont really have a power to shoot for now but eventually I will. I know its backwards but I'm learning as I go and fell in love. And it all started with a blown head gasket and a mechanic telling me that I have a Supercharger and I shouldn't get rid of it. 350hp-400hp would be solid. FIRST for me with everything and now this tranny.PhotoGrid_1511306388567.jpg
