Thread: Sonnax Sure Kit Install/Reamer Use

One thing you could do is send the VB to TripleEdge and have them do all the upgrades. I've found that to be about the most cost effective to fix everything possible.

I think it was around $300, but give them a call and ask. I couldn't find it on the website.

Because I sent mine out, I am not sure. BrandonHall10 may have a better idea.

Superior also makes a full valve body kit (Superior K4T65-E) that addresses the TCC valve. No special tools required. I've used it a couple times with good results. I talked to a couple local rebuilders about maybe borrowing the reamer (thinking surely they would have that tool) and they both said they just use the superior kit. I might be speaking out of turn, but I think the only time you NEED to ream is if there's damage to the bore.

The other thing I have sometimes done TCC related is the Sonnax TCC Relief Valve.
