Found some black seats that look in good shape from a 07 GP. The drivers I believe was an 8 way power with lumbar the passenger was a manual. The guy at the JY said the seats didn't cross reference back to my year. I would think at least the the passenger would since they are both manual. Is the airbag wiring the same? Can the 07 power seat be put into my 04 with no issue? My 04 just has the 6 way power with no lumbar and manual recline. Its $120 for the pair

They will bolt in. You will just have to ad the wiring for the extra features.

It depends. I'm not sure if this was just an 04 thing, but somewhere along the line they switched the wiring completely. The beginning 04 model has the same wiring and plugs as the 97-03, then later they switched to using the class2 data for the heat switches.
Basically it depends on your skills and what you're willing to do. I've got dual heated seats with 180 fold both power with 6 way lumbar in my 2002 so it's possible.
If you can post a picture of the connector and wire colors, I can create a wiring diagram that you can use. You might need a plug from the 05+.
As far as the airbag, I didn't think they had actual airbags. At least the seats I've seen use a detonated seat belt tensioner and that's it, but maybe that's an 07 thing? If your current seats don't have it, then there's probably not a way to safely adapt that.

Yes my current seats have the seat belt pretensior setup. My passenger is full manual but has wiring for the seat belt. There is additional wiring plug under the passenger so id assume I could get a passengers power seat and it plug it in. I will try and check the drivers side and check the wiring. The seat im looking at getting I don't think had heat

hehe the passenger seats never came power even on gxps. I did that conversion myself.... that plug would be for the heated seats. If the ones you got aren't heated, literally the only wires you need are orange for power and black for ground. You might get lucky and the seats just plug right in!

So today I swapped in the front seats. I didn't need to wire anything per se. The driver I was worried a little but it all works correct and I now have power lumbar. The passenger ended being a fold flat style seat. It has a connector on it and seperate module, no idea what its for. Vehicle didnt have heated seats. The connector for the pre-tensioner is all the same, no air bag light on.

That connector on the passenger seat is for the heated seats if I'm not mistaken. Does your current car have heated seats? There's a way to adapt them on both passenger and driver if you get the hvac control with the buttons for seat heaters, or a cheaper way is to use 97-03 gp switches, but you need the guts and thermistors from two 97-03 heated driver's seats.

My car doesn't and the other didnt as well. I don't doubt that some of the wiring might be for a heated seat, but it was a 10 or 12 way connector and it looked like all the cavities were filled and there was a module under the seat that's still there. I have wiring diagrams from GM but didn't get a diagram for this connector though

I'd put money down on heated seats. That module is the "brains" of the heater so it doesn't burn you. That's the only thing it could be. Passenger seats never had power or airbags. Post a picture and I can confirm and give a pinout

There is an air bag module under the passenger seat for weight sensing and other stuff.

Strange... I've taken apart dozens of these seats in the junkyard from gxps, gtps, gts in all trim ranges and have never seen anything other than the standard heated seat module. I've been wrong before though! I'd really be interested to see pictures. I always learn something new!
